About me
Lisa Fussell, Ed.D., is an Assistant Superintendent in Tangipahoa Parish School System located in Louisiana. She previously served as a high school teacher, assistant principal, high school principal, CTE/Secondary Supervisor and the Director of Academics for the parish. Lisa has worked for the Tangipahoa Parish School System for 25 years. The Tangipahoa Parish School System is a large rural district with approximately 20,000 students and 2,800 employees. She currently oversees the Academic Department which include Special Education, Educational Technology, Federal Programs, and Human Resources (certificated staff). Lisa graduated in May of 2021 with her Ed.D from Southeastern Louisiana University where she also earned her Bachelor of Arts degree, Master’s in Educational Leadership, and her plus 30. Lisa has been married for 28 years to an educator and coach. They have two children and three grandchildren. Her daughter is also an educator in the district and her son is currently a student at Southeastern Louisiana University majoring in Computer Science.
